Since their childhood years, Chabad has always been a part of Spencer & Ruti Kupferman's Jewish experience. Spencer was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina and Ruti was born in Jerusalem, Israel and emigrated to Denver, Colorado with her family when she was 10. 6 years ago, Spencer and Ruti became involved in the Chabad of Southampton Jewish Center as they started to spend their Summer's in Southampton with their 3 children.

Over these 6 years, Chabad of Southampton Jewish Center has become an integral part of the Kupferman family's life. More than just Summer Camp for their children it has become a spiritual sanctuary where the Kupferman family feel comfortable learning, praying and exploring our traditions and Judaism on many different levels. Whether it's the year-round programming offered, Camp Gan Israel, beautiful Shabbat Dinners hosted by Rabbi Rafe Konikov and Rebetzin Chany, or the many opportunities to learn Torah and Mitzvot, Chabad of Southampton Jewish Center has enriched their lives as well as the lives of many others.

David Stern was born in new york city and attended The Ramaz School followed by University of Michigan. He is a real estate professional who specialiazes in acquisitions. Haley Rothman Stern was born in New York City and attended Lawrence High School followed by the University at Buffalo. Haley is a stay-at-home mom to their 2 young children. They live in the Gramercy neighborhood of New York City with a summer home in Water Mill. They are involved with numerous charities including Bar Ilan University, Yad Vashem and Young Jewish Professionals.
